Applications received by the Wednesday prior to the event will be considered pre-registered and not be subject to late fees. After Wednesday at 4:00 PM, all registration will be closed until on-site registration is open at the scheduled time. All on-site registration is subject to a $5.00 late fee. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Day of race registration is accepted, but it can be a slow process due to racer volume. Arrive early, at least 2 hours prior to your race start, so that registration can be completed prior to your cut-off time. All on-site registration is subject to a $5.00 late fee.
All racers must sign release forms. Racers under 18 years of age must also have a parent or legal guardian sign the release form.
NOTE: LEGAL GUARDIAN IS NOT THE NEIGHBOR, FRIEND'S DAD, BROTHER OR UNCLE. IT HAS TO BE THE LEGAL GUARDIAN. PLEASE BRING PROOF IF YOU'RE A LEGAL GUARDIAN.

Racing Age is your age at the end of the year. Your age on 12/31/09 is the age category you MUST race with for the 2009 race season.
All Pros /and Category 1 Racers must have a annual USA Cycling Racing License indicating Mountain Bike category. Category 2, Category 3 and Junior Racers are encouraged to but not required to have an annual USA Cycling Racing License.
Riders wishing to upgrade should go to www.usacycling.org for upgrade procedures.
Racers of 200 pounds plus may race as a Clydesdale. See entry form for categories.
What To Bring To Registration when you pick up your packet:
- Valid USA Cycling Racing License
- Picture I.D.
Awards will be presented at an Awards Ceremony following the day's racing. Preliminary results are posted throughout the race. Final results will be posted after a 15 minute inquiry period following the posting of the preliminary results after racing is complete. Final results will be posted at www.teambigbear.com.
Awards are given to the top three finishers in each category. If there are 10 or more finishers in a class, awards will be given five deep. You must be present to receive your award. NO AWARDS WILL BE MAILED.
Points are based on a 60-point system. A win is worth 60 points and values go down from there. Tie-breakers will be determined by the last race. Whoever wins the last race will win the series. If both competitors do not attend the last race, it goes back to the last time the two raced together to determine the winner.
Final race results and standings will be posted on www.teambigbear.com . They will be posted by Monday following the race. RESULTS WILL NOT BE MAILED.
Races will not be cancelled due to inclement weather.
USA Cycling has eliminated the Semi Pro category and renamed The Expert, Sport and Beginner Category.
